After having organized and produced V-Day Petaluma, a campaign to raise awareness and end violence against women, for three years, I was inspired to found a nonprofit along with three other board members.  That organization is Guided To Safety, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources and education for the awareness and prevention of domestic violence, teen dating violence and sexual assault.  At present I serve as President, Education Chair, and facilitator.

Late summer 2013, we began promoting our adolescent dating abuse prevention program.  We’re currently scheduled to facilitate a “Dating Abuse 101” assembly at Kenilworth Junior High School in May 2014, and a three-part teen workshop series, “Find Your Voice” in late March 2014 at the local community center.
