Do You Know a Super Girl?

One out of every three children is bullied today.

Headquartered in Arizona, Severson Sisters Foundation is an empowerment organization for females with a mission to inspire girls to live their life as their authentic, awesome, super self.  To meet that goal, Severson Sisters created the Super Girl Program.

The Super Girl Program gives girls self-esteem enhancing tools, tips on how to develop and maintain healthy relationships with their peers and action plans on how to handle bullying situations in life that match their personality.

As a trained and licensed Super Girl Facilitator, I strive to teach girls the importance of building self-esteem as a fundamental tool that will help develop, enhance and deepen their relationships with their peers.

The American Medical Association states that victims of bullying may later find themselves in abusive relationships, struggle with long-term depression and self-esteem issues.  And bullies may develop criminal behavior in adulthood, have trouble holding down a job and fail at maintaining positive close relationships.

The Super Girl Program was developed by an Advisory Board of field experts.  Our Super Girl Program Core Principals are:

  • Respect.imageRespect
  • Relationships
  • Peer Pressure
  • Competition
  • Acceptance
  • Body Image

I anticipate beginning a program for up to twelve 6th – 8th graders focused on the principal of RESPECT in late March 2014.  Please share this information with anyone you believe may benefit from this empowering program.

Sponsorship – a tax-deductible opportunity!  Interested in becoming a Sponsor of a Super Girl program?  It could be as simple as providing us with a space to meet.  Please contact me to discuss options.
